Passport Fees are Increasing on July 13, 2010

I’ve been lazy renewing my passport, but I’m going to do it today. That’s because Passport Fees are increasing on July 13, 2010. I knew there was an increase coming, but I kept putting it off. Now I have to get going.

And, I can thank Lori Rice’s article on Galavanting for reminding me to take care of this.

Here are the basics:

  • First time applicants will be paying 35% more as the price for a passport book increases from $100 to $135.

Top Safety Ratings May Help Reduce Low Car Insurance

The 2010 Volkswagen Passat has earned itself the honor of being named a “Top Safety Pick” in the midsize car class by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
